Hi Dan, good list there mate. I think the best DC is probably Otamendi and the best MC is Verratti. They turn into really good players. By the way, how are your Juventus doing?
.-= Laxeyman´s last blog ..Stade Malherbe Caen: August -> January 2012-2013 =-.

ZN09 April 9, 2010 Reply

Andros Townsend (ML) & Kyle Walker (DRC) both from tottenham will turn out good!

Daniel Monksfield April 9, 2010 Reply

@ Laxeyman: The team is going very well, having a mini break at the moment to focus on some more all round blog things and then I will carry on with my story.

ZN09 they are two good suggestions, I just checked them out on Football Manager 2010 and they look like good young players so I will add them to the list! :)

Simon Kjaer from Palermo. He will gives u a solid performance!!Anyway,do u have any recommendations for Italian players?Thanks..

Criss July 6, 2010 Reply

If you start a new game or if you’re in between 2009-2012 (after that they either retire or get in their 30′s or so): Verratti, Balotelli, Giovinco, Forestieri, Chiellini, Buffon, Del Piero, Macheda, Antonio Viola, Marchisio, Cannavaro, Cassano, Silvio Raggio Garibaldi….hope it was useful

Dan July 7, 2010

Some great suggestions there, Marco Verratti is my favourite Italian youngster on the game, and Giovinco is awesome from my spell at Juventus!

Daniel Monksfield April 14, 2010 Reply

My favourite Italian youngster is Marco Verratti, I did write about him in a previous post here: http://www.aidtheboss.com/marco-verratti/

Andrea Seculin is a nice young keeper you can pick up for around 300k form Fiorentina, and also there is Lorenzo Crisetig from Inter. He will cost you a bit more but is a very talented DM and only 16 years old.

I will be doing more posts soon which will focus on certain countries players, and Italy will definatley be one of the first so look out for it.

Check out Silviu Jr a young Romanian GK you can get him for 300k and he is awesome.

Richard Martin May 19, 2010 Reply

Fèllça is gaurenteed to score 1.89 goals a game i have started 5 games playing for 5 different teams and this player is immence he is 17 and only costs 10k from Hamburg Reserves but he’s stats by the time he turns 19 are incredible, hes value goes up to £13.5M at 19 and hes is very loyal desipite what team you are. Hes wages are £500 a week and is very happy with the conditions and when people make offers or enquiries he rejects them instantly saying he loves the club and the future for it. Another star is Gokiellieivoc £2M but is worth £21M after 2 years

you should look at a player called mahatma otoo
he plays for ……… damn I can’t remember, but if you just look up otoo in the search bar he should come up
it takes two-three seasons for him to get a work permit and the scouts at the beginning always say he’s rubbish, but they are wrong.
if you wanna compare how good his stats become in the future, then it would be Hulk from porto
you won’t regret it, 300k at most

tom smith May 21, 2010 Reply

I’ve remembered now, he plays for Hearts of Oak and he so worth getting its not even funny

Daniel Monksfield May 22, 2010 Reply

Thanks for the suggestion, I have just checked him out and although he doesn’t have the best of stats at the moment, it definitely looks like he could become a great player in the future :)

Mandatory Purchases for the ultimate invincible dream team : Akinfeev (GK) – Hiroki Lida (DL) from japan…a real gem (DL) – Sakho (DC) – Otamendi (DC) – Knezovic (DL) – Moussa Sissoko (DMC) – Nani (Left Midfielder) – Aaron Lennon (Right Midfielder) – Gourcouff and Toni Kross (AMC) – Aguero (ST)
SUBS: Silvio Lung Jr (GK) – Jorgensen (DC) – Bale (DR) – Azpilicueta (DL) – Camacho (DMC) – Walcott (Left Midfielder) – Antonio Viola (Right Midfielder) – Forestieri and Verratti (AMC) – Nikao (ST)
With these players in a 4-1-2-2-1 formation, I haven’t LOST one game in 25 consecutive matches so far (hope it lasts for more or not lose as much)…I just win or draw….no joke….try them out and you will be amazed!!!! They all kick serious butt in the game!!!!
Honorable mentions go to: Mascherano, Chiellini,Buffon,Ochoa, Roque Santa Cruz,Pazzini,Drenthe,El Sharaawy, N’Koulou….too bad they’re too old or retired in my year of game (2020)

Criss July 5, 2010 Reply

oooops, I forgot one thing just for your info…..all this positive streak is without the corner kick strategy

admin July 6, 2010 Reply

I must say, that is an amazing team Criss congratulations. Your attack of Gourcrouff, Kroos and Aguero is mind blowing. Your subs bench has a lot of quality as well, you should be proud.

What season are you in and what team are you managing Criss?

Criss July 6, 2010 Reply

Dear Admin,
I am managing juventus season 2020….but soon almost all of my players will have 33+ years or in the process of retiring…they can probably still kick butt but I can tell there is a quality dropdown although still being amazing… so Basically I have to start searching for fresh young and middle-aged players to get my groove back.
