Best Players on Football Manager 2011

Me and a few friends have been compiling this list since the demo came out, and have done a lot of work on it since the full game came out! We have put together what we think some of the best players in Football Manager 2011 are. I have excluded all of the most obvious names such as Messi & Ronaldo, and tried to bring you some stars of FM2011 that you should keep an eye out for when playing!

I have mixed the more well known players, with some young stars, so you get a good selection of players old and young. I did make a shortlist, but it was deleted from FM for some reason. However, check back this post in a couple of days and the shortlist will be up!

    I’m not sure about ‘Igor Akinfeev’, his attributes look pretty poor (at the start anyway).

      I think he’s quite good mate, there are a few goalkeepers better than him. He has some good GK attributes, 16 for kicking, one on ones, bravery, and 17 for reflexes and positioning. He’s still 24 as well, so got a good 10 years or so in him :)

      Just my opinion though! I just signed him as my replacement for Almunia!

    decent list but like others lots of errors, for example G.Bale is better suited to winger.

    There are a few players I have noticed, and I’m just about 2 seasons in.

    Genie Scout is a tool for Football Manager which allows you to browse the player database, see what players Current Ability and Potential Ability, and see what there attributes will be like in the future.

    It’s not out yet but I will be posting it up when it is :)

    I bought Maarten Stekelenberg as my replacement for Almunia and he has been awesome. Also Romelu Lukaku came on loan and cheap fee, now he’s worth 15m and it quality, and also Carlos Vela should be on the list! Scoring nearly every game… and he wouldnt have been picked had bendtner and V.Persie not been injured.

    Just a few of my tips.

    Stephen M’Bia is not bad either
