Football Manager 2011 Regen Generation Dates

Something I’ve always found interesting is the dates that regens are created in Football Manager. If you don’t know, regens are randomly created players within a save that are created to make sure there isn’t a shortage of players. As the years go on, all of the top players will retire and this means new players must come through the academies.

Here are the regen creation dates in FM11. These will be useful because it allows me to know exactly when the regens are created, and gives me a chance to pick up the 15/16 year old wonderkids or hidden gems before all the other teams can, and allow me to attempt to develop them into world class players!

    i don’t get it what does the numbers before states mean?
    thanks

    oooo… and ATB rules 🙂

  • Dan

    The number before is the date.

    01.01 = 1st January
    09.12 = 9th December

    Sorry, I should have made that clearer in the post, I will update it now. Thanks!

    Thanks for the good tip. Little difficult to find wonderkids though. I keep searching around these dates but i only find few players and most are terrible. I go to player search, nationality, and age at most 18. Is there another way to search for these players??

  • Turner

    You need to scout in the areas to find the regens when searching. Best solution is on the day after the dates given above check out the major teams from the nations provided, you will be able to do this by clicking on world at top of screen, major clubs, then the region. I do this all the time, however depending on the club you manage depends on the interest of the player but by snapping them up early means they are generally not tied to an agent

  • Jamie

    This isnt the way to find them i know the way put all the outfield attributes up to 10 in player search and put 0-21 and expiring from 2012 u will start to get players on that list do not ever change it these will all be regens

  • Deano

    Great way to find players is to search for players that have a youth contract. Use the search tool to get this:
    contract status is youth
    Scout the players that are the most expensive as they tend to be better. All you will pay is compensation which is usually between 1-3m for great players.

  • Ankit

    Why is poland mentioned twice???

    Scouting, searching big teams of the nations and so on – waste of time. If you want to find the talents in the easiest way possible and have the best talents of the world and have so many you can’t have them all in your team – use the FM Genie Scout 11, just google it to find download. It’s perfect.

    I consider using genie scout as cheating and I never cheat in games. I find it much more satisfying to scout them myself using the current possibilites in FM.
