Yesterday I posted up about the Football Manager 2012 logos megapack containing logos for every club, nation and competition in FM2012 for you to download and install. Since then I have had a lot of requests to post up a similar download for facepacks so here it is.

This download contains over 80,000, yes 80,000 images for almost every player in Football Manager 2012 which is superb and will really make your game look a lot better when playing. There are a number of ways you can download this facepack and as you can imagine, it’s a huge file so it will take a while, but trust me it will be worth it!

Download Football Manager 201w Facepack (Free)

You can chose to download the files for free from FileFront in 7 different parts and then collate them together once you have finished downloading ready to install. Don’t feel like this will be hard because this is what I used and it was a very easy process.

Part 1Part 2Part 3Part 4Part 5Part 6Part 7

I recommend downloading the parts one at a time otherwise your internet will be very slow and you will get frustrated. Once you have downloaded each part, scroll down to find out how to install the facepack.

Download Football Manager 2012 Facepack (Premium)

If you wan’t to avoid the hassle of downloading the facepack in different parts and would prefer one big file on it’s own, then SortItOutSi offer you the chance to download the file straight from their server at a super fast speed by signing up to their premium membership program. This costs £10 a year  but it’s not required so that’s why I put the free download links above.

How to Install

Once you have downloaded the facepack, you will need to install it in Football Manager 2012. Here is what you have to do:

1. Unzip all of the facepack parts and put them all into one folder you create called ‘Facepacks’

2. Place this Facepacks folder in My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2012/Graphics (You may need to create the ‘Graphics’ folder if it isn’t there already.

3. Open Football Manager 2012 and go to preferences/display and sound.

4. Untick ‘Use skin cache’

5. Tick ‘Always reload skin on confirm’

6. The faces should now appear for all players in the game, sometimes you may need to start a new save for this to come into effect but usually it should be ok!

So there you have it, that is how to download 80,000 player faces and install them in Football Manager 2012. If you would like logos for every team in the gam, then check out my Football Manager 2012 logos post with download links and installation instructions.

  3. Joe says:

This doesn’t work. When you download the files they come up as .00# files, not .7z files, so you cant open them in 7zip. Even when you correct it and save them as .7z files you still cant unzip them…

  4. The Commy Kid says:

Even with 7zip and renaming the file extension this doesn’t extract, is there a possibility of the file being broken?

  5. Nabil says:

    Part 1 is broken.

  6. Nabil says:

okay, i got it, you just have to join all the files using hjsplit.

  7. Arsenal Q8 says:

okay, i got it, you just have to join all the files using hjsplit.

but it won’t work, I think because the file isn’t .fmf ?

  8. ash says:

Ive got it to work, join them up using 7 zip and then extract it using 7zip.

    Cheers!

@TroubleGirl – Just wondering if once clicked extract you extract it to the graphics folder in fm file as opposed to just say desktop?

it works boys…only with 7-zip …and after u enter in fm 2012, if it doesn’t load…click in the left bottom of the screen “reload skin”…and u’ll have 80 000 new faces

  21. ChelseaMania says:

Anybody can help concerning the unzipping?..Tried 7 zip to no avail.Am using windows 7..Any link where i can download and unzip the pack plzzzzzz?

  22. Saviour of facepack zipping says:

Try this software “hjsplit”. Join all the files from 001 to 007 then unzip the joined file using winRar or winZip or anything. This works :)

  23. Tomaaa says:

Does anybody know how to install this on a Mac? Can’t get it working :(

  24. Mike says:

As above, didn’t work first time. But you don’t need to join the files together… just make sure 7Zip is installed, then hold down Ctrl and select all seven downloaded files, right click, choose 7Zip and then Extract. Worked fine.

Got something to say? Go for it!
