Football Manager 2013 Cheap Players & Bargains

After a number of requests, I decided to put together a list of the Football Manager 2013 cheap players and bargains. I can almost guarantee you won’t find a better bargain list than this on the internet. If you really are broke and can’t even afford some bargains, check out my free players list.

I have set the cut off as all players with a value under £2.5m, although the majority of the players on this list are under £1m. As always, the list can be sorted by age, value etc to suit your needs. There is also a downloadable shortlist at the bottom of this post.

Shortlist

This shortlist contains every player on the list and can be installed into your game in minutes using the instructions below.

  1. Download the shortlist from below.
  2. Unzip the file (using something like Winrar or Winzip) and place the Bargains.slf file into My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2013/Shortlists.
  3. Open FM2013, on the navigation bar click your manager name, on the drop down menu hover over ‘Shortlists’ and then click shortlist.
  4. Roughly half way on the screen and to the right there is a button that says ‘Shortlists’, click this and then on the drop down menu click import.
  5. Double click on the ‘Bargains’ file on the popup box and it’s done.

    Came across an old CM game, the 2000/01 version and I won the champions league with Sheffield Wednesday (and went the whole (literally) season top of the league). Had a strike force of Ronaldo, Robbie Keane, Vieri, Diego Tristan and Roque Santa Cruz (plus Rosado but think he was made up)! Funny how, although they were all relatively old, they’ve all faded in real life despite how good they were previously. Santa Cruz at Malaga!!       Quite funny (if you look at that link), how much wages have over-inflated. I had Gattuso and Ronaldo (original) on £55k a week as top team in England (& ultimately Europe) – about 3-5 times that in real life!)

    Nicolai Jorgensen and Bolanos from FC Copenhagen is not central midfielders. Bolanos is mainly a right winger, but can be used as an attacking midfielder. Jorgensen is a plays most of his games as a left winger and in the attack.
