I’m playing PSG and the player with highest first touch long shots and technique is Nene. I did exactly what you said but everytime my corner taker passes the ball to Nene who lurks outside area, some player from the opposing team comes and heads it clear. its like my players arent going anywhere near the goalpost or the keeper. just cramming the box which pulls forward the other team players marking them. any suggestions?

I’ve used this tactic for corners and it really works! I’ve got this 19 year old wonderkid regen who is a centre back, he’s got 18 jumping, 19 strength and 19 headering. So i’ve put him on the far post and I get my corners to be aimed to him, and last season he played 27 matches and scored 17 goals, 11 man of the matches!

Try doing that and let me know how it does

hmm…im not gonna bother with that cos u need such a good long shooter, like Xavi. I don’t read much online, but I have something I cam up with on 2010 and it worked so well id get nearly 10-20 goals a season with the scorer. works ok in 2011 too but not as well.
just put the better heading CB on near post flick on and the other on far post. a big man challenging the keeper (i go for bigger ST) then do whatever u want with the rest of the squad. then set ur corner kicks to near post. simple as that lol and the CB on near post usually scores but sometimes flicks on to far post. scored over 20 in a season with kaboul once!

Im a FM pro and i think this tactic is not so good… I have a better 1, and i wrote about it on fm2011 facebook page… Best corner taker, and u put ur best CB (jumping,strenght,heading,positioning) on attack far post, and other on challenge GK or striker on chlng GK, and corner deploy on far post…works like a charm! Best result with it is Manchester Utd – Chelsea 5-0 ( Vidic scored all 5 goals , u can also see that pic in fm2011 fb fan photos. 15 + goals per season from CB. Good luck guys.
